This website provides general information about Palm Grove Hideaway Resort, available or planned stays, cuisine, nature, experiences, attractions, celebrations, sustainability and ways to contact or book with us. It is intended to help visitors explore possibilities and make informed enquiries.

Website content is not, by itself, a guaranteed offer or booking. A reservation becomes binding only in accordance with the confirmation, payment and other requirements stated in our Booking Policies and the written confirmation issued for that reservation.

Accuracy, completeness and updates

We take reasonable care to present helpful and current information, but we do not promise that every page will always be complete, error-free or immediately updated. Typographical errors, technical issues, delayed updates and differences between general summaries and current operations may occur.

Facilities, inclusions, menus, activities, routes, schedules, policies, prices and other details may be corrected, updated, suspended or withdrawn. If a particular feature is essential to your visit, please ask us to confirm it in writing before booking or travelling.

Phased resort development

Palm Grove is being developed and introduced in phases. The website has been designed to reflect both the current resort and its direction for future expansion. Some stay types, facilities, activities, areas or concepts described as planned, upcoming, proposed, in development or similar may not yet be bookable or operational.

Development priorities, designs, names, capacities, materials, layouts and opening dates may change. Conceptual information does not create a promise that a feature will be completed in a particular form or by a particular date. Only facilities and services expressly included in your written confirmation form part of your reservation.

Photography, video and descriptions

Resort photographs and videos are selected to communicate the character and setting of Palm Grove. Unless clearly identified as a concept, illustration, archive image or third-party destination image, resort visuals are intended to represent the property or experience at the time they were recorded.

Natural light, season, weather, water levels, vegetation, crops, furniture, styling, maintenance, camera perspective and screen settings can affect appearance. A room or experience may therefore not look identical to a particular photograph on every visit. Images of nearby attractions depict those destinations and do not imply that they are located within the resort.

Room sizes, travel distances, capacities and other measurements are approximate unless expressly confirmed. Descriptive language is intended to convey character and should not be read as a measurable guarantee.

Natural surroundings and wildlife

Palm Grove is a nature-based countryside property. Weather, rainfall, temperature, water channels, ponds, crops, flowers, fruit, insects, birds, fish and other wildlife change by season and natural conditions. Their presence, quantity, behaviour and visibility cannot be guaranteed.

References to birdwatching, wildlife, harvests, coconut or fruit experiences, water features and similar natural attractions describe possibilities, not guaranteed sightings, yields or conditions. Guests should expect ordinary features of a rural tropical environment, which may include uneven ground, mud, rain, heat, insects, animals, falling natural material and changing water levels.

We may restrict access to an area when maintenance, weather, water, farming operations, wildlife or another safety consideration requires it.

Activities, experiences and personal safety

Farming, cycling, boating, fishing, swimming, animal interaction, campfires, outdoor cooking, wildlife observation and village experiences may involve physical and environmental risks. Availability depends on weather, season, water and ground conditions, equipment, guides, staffing, guest suitability and safety considerations.

Website information is not a substitute for instructions given at the resort or by a qualified activity provider. Guests must disclose relevant health, mobility or swimming limitations, use required safety equipment, supervise children and follow staff or guide directions. We may change, postpone or stop an experience where reasonably necessary for safety.

General wellness references, including relaxation, yoga, meditation, natural food or time in nature, are not medical claims or medical advice. Consult an appropriate professional about personal health or fitness concerns.

Cuisine, ingredients and dietary information

Menus, ingredients, presentation and dining locations may change according to season, local supply, guest numbers and preparation requirements. Photographs of food are illustrative and the prepared dish may vary.

Dietary and allergen information is general and does not guarantee an allergen-free preparation environment. Guests with allergies, intolerances or medical dietary requirements must contact us in advance and discuss their needs directly before consuming food or drink.

Rates, currency, promotions and availability

Website rates and promotions may depend on dates, day of the week, occupancy, stay type, inclusions, minimum stay and availability. They may change before confirmation. An online display or enquiry does not reserve inventory while a booking remains unconfirmed.

Foreign-currency amounts may be shown for convenience. Payment may be processed in Sri Lankan Rupees at the conversion basis stated in the quotation or invoice. Exchange rates and third-party bank or card charges can affect the amount ultimately debited. Applicable taxes, service charges and optional extras will be identified through the booking process.

An obviously incorrect price caused by a typing, configuration or technical error may be corrected before confirmation. Correctly confirmed booking rates will be handled according to the confirmation and applicable law.

Maps, travel times and destination information

Maps, route suggestions, distances and travel times are approximate and may be supplied by third-party mapping services. Actual journeys depend on the route, traffic, road works, weather, vehicle and local conditions.

Information about visas, permits, health requirements, opening hours, ticket prices, attractions and local regulations is general and may change. Guests are responsible for checking current information with the relevant authority or service provider before travel.

Palm Grove is not responsible for independent flights, public transport, visas, attraction closures or other travel arrangements not expressly included in a confirmed service supplied by us.

External links and third-party services

This website may link to or embed maps, social networks, payment pages, booking platforms, reviews, videos, attractions, transport providers and other external services. Links are provided for convenience and do not mean that Palm Grove controls or guarantees the external content, security, availability, pricing, privacy practices or performance.

Safari, transport, surfing, cultural visits, guides and other activities may be delivered by independent providers under their own conditions. Where we act only as an intermediary, the provider remains responsible for delivering its service. Nothing in this Disclaimer removes any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Reviews, opinions and user content

Reviews, testimonials, social-media posts and guest comments reflect the experience and opinion of the individual contributor at a particular time. They do not guarantee that another guest will have the same experience.

Where user content appears on our channels, we may moderate material that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, unrelated or infringes another person’s rights, but we do not guarantee advance review of every third-party comment.

Website access and technology

We aim to keep the website secure and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or virus-free operation. Access may be affected by maintenance, hosting, networks, browsers, devices, third-party services or events outside our reasonable control.

Responsibility and limitation

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability where exclusion would be unlawful, including responsibility arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or another liability that cannot be excluded under Sri Lankan law.

Subject to that qualification, Palm Grove is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, business loss, or loss caused by reliance on unconfirmed general website information, independent travel decisions, third-party content or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Responsibility relating to a confirmed reservation is governed by its confirmation, our Terms of Service, Booking Policies and applicable law.

We may update this Disclaimer when the resort, website, services or legal requirements change. The current version takes effect when published and displays its latest revision date.
